About Patricia
I have been riding since I was a child, experimenting with many different disciplines. For twelve years during my twenties and early thirties I danced professionally after training while a student at FSU. During this time, I was Assistant Artistic Director of Tallahassee Civic Ballet. After graduating from FSU in 1980 I joined Southern Ballet Theatre in Orlando, Florida as a member of their professional company. While there I performed principal and soloist roles and taught ballet and repertory classes in their adjacent school. From 1982 until 1988, I was a member of Tampa Ballet, also in the professional company. While with The Tampa Ballet I taught ballet class, organized the touring schedule, staged repertory, and was Assistant to the Executive Director. In 1985 I choreographed "Romeo and Juliet" for St. Petersburg Opera. In 1988 I began riding again and joined my sister, Martha Deasy-Little, competing in Eventing, and Dressage. In 1989 and 1990 I managed Steve Wilson's Heaven Trees Farm, a polo facility, in Mandarin near Jacksonville. I moved to the Gainesville area to start my own farm in August of 1990. -Patricia C.
