We are so proud to announce that three of Patricia's students; Heather Fultz, Liz Jannaman, and Julie Quintrall completed their USDF Bronze medals this month. Heather has brought her mare, SS Seraphina along from a young filly to Third level to complete her medal. She has also qualified three times for USDF National Championships, attended twice, and was the National Champion at First Level Freestyle 2015 and finished Third at Second Level in 2016.  Liz earned her medal with Welton Valentino at First and Second Level and finishing with Patricia's Renoir in 2018. Julie completed her medal on her own Adiemus, her lovely mare Pasha, and Ellen Hartley's handsome gelding Czechmate. Congratulations ladies!

Patricia's mare, Catherston What a Dream, in foal to Catherston Stud's exciting young stallion Timolin, foaled a beautiful liver chestnut colt owned by Liz Jannaman, and named Twas a Dream. We are so excited for this new addition and are so thankful that everyone is safe and healthy!

This week Sir Majesty had a saddle on for the first time. We are going to back him this fall with my student, Liz riding since she is tiny and quiet. He is very much like his half brother, Cadbury, and as he matures we think he will have a bright future.

Swing Time aka Cadbury qualified for and competed in his first GAIG USDF Region 3 Championships in Wellington FL, October 5 through the 8th. He was quite business like at this exciting venue and I was very proud of him..I'm pleased with how our first 6 months of showing has gone and am looking forward to his future. Thank you to Bent Jensen for all of his help in Wellington!

Silver Oak Farm weathered the historic Hurricane Irma this past weekend. We were very thankful that the farm and all our our horses made it through the storm unscathed. Our thoughts are with all of our friends affected by Irma across the area. Pictured is part of the 4 legged clean up crew. Photograph from Heather Fultz.

Two of my students,  Amy Hodik and Liz Jannaman, joined me in taking Sir Highness to a schooling show this weekend at the Florida Horse Park. Amy and Liz both rode a Training level dressage test with Sir for scores of 63.3% and 63.5%. Most importantly, Sir was relaxed and willing, even at a new and exciting venue. We look forward to continued success in his showing career and expanding his education to include jumping in the very near future!

Another successful show this weekend at the Summer Sizzler II held at Canterbury Showplace in Newberry FL! Julie Quintral and her mare Pasha put in two lovely Third level tests. They succeeded in getting Julie's first Third level score (at 3-3) for her USDF Bronze medal. Only one more score to go for this pair! Their hard work is clearly paying off! I was also very proud of Swing Time (aka Cadbury), as he and I had the high score for the show (77.5%) and won the AHS High Point Hanovarian award. With this score we have also qualified for the USDF Region 3 Championships at Training level. Cadbury is a lovely horse and I am so happy to be his rider.

We wanted to congratulate my friend Sara Gonzales-Rothi Kronenthal and her family of Good Fortune Farm, on the successful inspection of their foal, Bailarina Suprema (Bailey), at the German Oldenburg Verbrand Inspection held at the beautiful Yancy Farms. She was awarded
Foal of Distinction, and the inspection committee found her to have "clearly extraordinary...conformation and movement." Bailey is by Supremat, out of a lovely mare,   Brendonhill Royal Murmur,  (Murmer), whom I sold to Sara as an eventer. I look forward to helping with Bailey's training in the future, she is a smart and talented filly.

Julie Quintral and Pasha (on the right) made their debut at 3rd Level and were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their 3 classes. Swing Time (aka Cadbury) and I (in the center) won both of our Training Level 3 classes and High Point (73.864 %) for the weekend in only his second USDF Show.  Thank you to Orlando Dressage for a great weekend.

We welcomed Sir Majesty, by Sir Donnerhall out of EM Halleluagh HA (His Highness) to Silver Oak Farm. Sir Majesty was bred by my friends in Michigan, Cheryl & Eric  Johnson of Hidden Acres Hanoverians. They are also the breeders of my lovely 5 year old; Sir Highness (EM Halleluagh HA by Sandro Hit). This young horse is a half brother to both of my other young horses.  He has the same sire as Cadbury and the same dam as Sir.  We are very excited about this colt's future with us and thank you Cheryl and Eric for breeding yet another wonderful young horse.
