It was with Renoir that Patricia was awarded her USDF Silver and Gold Medals, and the 2016 USDF National Intermediate II Champion Vintage Cup, Professional division. They have qualified for USDF Region 3 Championships at FEI Level each year from 2013-2016 and for USDF Nationals at Intermediare 2 in 2015. Renoir retired to Silver Oak Farm with Patricia in 2020. He passed away in 2021 at the age of 32 and will forever be missed. He was truly a treasure.
Upon his passing Patricia's mentor, Jennie Loriston-Clarke shared these words in his memory.
"I am so sorry to hear about Ren. He and you were a great partnership, you changed him from a confused worried chap to being a real happy athlete and wanting to please you. A partnership of elegance and harmony. For him to be able to compete to such a great age, as well as helping other riders learn, is a great credit to your horsemanship. He will be well remembered by all who knew him."
