Perch

Perch began his Eventing career at Silver Oak Farm, reaching Preliminary level in 2002 just before being sold on to his new owner..  A grandson of Triple Crown winner Affirmed, he looked a great deal like him, a beautiful horse with lovely paces.  Perch was quite sensitive horse, one that had to be ridden very carefully.  He was successful Event horse whose results included a win at  Novice at a USEA Event at Canterbury Horse Trials and at Training a 2nd place finish at a USEA Event Basingstoke Horse Trials. In three years of competition he only placed out of the ribbons once and was always in the ribbons in dressage.
