I have been riding most of my life, experimenting with many different disciplines. During my twenties and early thirties I spent several years dancing professionally after training as a dancer while attending FSU. While still in college I was the Assistant Artistic Director of the Tallahassee Civic Ballet. In 1981-82, I joined The Southern Ballet Theatre in Orlando, Florida where I performed principal and soloist roles and taught ballet and repertory classes in their adjacent school. From 1982 until 1988, I was a member of The Tampa Ballet, also performing principal and soloist roles. While in Tampa, I taught ballet, organized the touring schedule, staged repertory, and was the Assistant Executive Director of Tampa Ballet. In 1985, I choreographed "Romeo and Juliet" for the St. Petersburg Opera. In 1988, I began riding again and joined my sister, Martha Little, competing in Combined Training.
